Laura Claridge

I joined Renaissance in 2006. Shortly before joining the company, I earned an MA in Library and Information Studies from University College London, following a few years working in library and information management roles. My work with children’s books at Renaissance later inspired me to complete an MA (Res) in Children’s Literature at the University of Reading, which I undertook alongside my role in my own time.

I very much enjoy the process of creating an Accelerated Reader quiz. This work stays interesting because of the diverse range of titles we quiz and also because each book presents a new challenge. However, the process always involves identifying memorable plot points or topics in a book and formulating accurate questions on these moments that are clear and straightforward for a genuine reader to answer.
