Which party should I vote for?
Question 1:
What should we do about immigration?
- We should let anyone come into the country. If we provide more assistance to poorer countries, there will be fewer people wanting to settle in the UK anyway
- Britain is already overcrowded and our schools, hospitals and roads are struggling to cope. We need a 5-year moratorium on immigration to make sure that the population doesn't keep growing.
- We should allow unlimited immigration from other European Union countries, but use a points system for other immigrants and only allow skilled immigrants into the UK.
- There should be no limit on immigration. We should grant asylum seekers temporary rather than permanent status to begin with, because the situation in their own country might improve.
- Britain should allow immigrants into the country without limits. They provide skills and labour that the UK simply cannot afford to do without.
